GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Only hardcore Harry Potter fans would play hooky from life to wait all day in line for the last movie in the series: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2."
Local youth and adults queued up as early as Regal Cinemas staff would let them — Thursday morning — to be the first to see the last movie in the universally popular Harry Potter juggernaut.
Umbrellas and tents were pitched outside the theater to stave off the beating hot sun rays. Fans passed the time by playing board games, reading, and talking all things Potter amongst each other. Several dressed up in Hogwarts gear for a little role-playing.
The movies start after midnight Friday morning.
