The Western Slope Conservative Alliance will be holding a meeting at the City Hall auditorium at Fifth and Rood 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30.

Matt Arnold with Clear the Bench Colorado will be speaking briefly and the Heritage Foundation will be here to discuss the "tea party" movement and its impact nationwide. The Heritage Foundation's mission is "to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense."

This is a free event, open to the public. Seating is limited.
