Having a little buyer's remorse

Has anyone else noticed that feeling of uneasiness?

I guess it's recession, unemployment, federal deficit, increased welfare and taxes and cost creep. I know, I know, it's all happened before, but I can't remember when all of that has happened in so short a time, and I've been following this stuff for a lot of years.

And, to make our uneasiness even worse we've seen “stimulus one,” bank and insurance company bail outs, the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac debacles, car company and student loan takeovers, and now the health care boondoggle.

Not to mention a leaky Southern border, rampant drug violations, states on the brink of bankruptcy, massive cuts in space and defense, a naive foreign policy, and a government poised to bring us the “immigration reform” bomb.

Combine that with the attempted abolition of Christianity, destruction of marriage, ignorance of moral responsibility, gays in the military, and cuts in local services and we have a real mess on our hands, from the bottom to the top.

Is all this change what we voted for? Are Americans OK this, or are we all feeling a little buyer's remorse?

This government has shown it can impose anything on us it wants. So, is there any wonder a grassroots protest movement has sprung up? The “grassrooters” are just enjoying protests and their “right of free speech” before that's gone, too.
