This weekend, Fruita and the rest of the world are getting set for the 15th annual New Belgium Brewing Fruita Fat Tire Festival presented by US Bank and supported by Shimano and the City of Fruita.

Sunshine, singletrack, products displayed from the best in the bike industry, the ever-welcoming Beer Garden, the Clunker Crit, and more are what you can expect.

Friday, April 30

• 9 a.m.-6 p.m. - Expo opens, bike demos

• 10 a.m.-6 p.m. - Registration opens at Fruita Civic Center

• Rides (see bulletin board at Beer Tent)

• 6-10 p.m. - Friday Party at Civic Center; Dry River Yacht Club live

• 6-10 p.m. - New Belgium Beer Garden opens, prizes and Bottle Walk contest



Saturday, May 1

• 8 a.m. - COPMOBA free pancake breakfast in the Expo grass at Fruita Civic Center (near beer tent).

• 10 a.m.-noon - Registration

• 9 a.m.-6 p.m. - Expo opens, bike demos

• 2 p.m. - Fruita Sister City Celebration

• 2 p.m. - Clunker Crit “Fun”ky Bike Race

• 6-10 p.m. - New Belgium Beer Garden opens, prizes, drawings, giveaways

• 6-10 p.m. - Saturday Night Festival Party with “Riveter” live

• 10 p.m.-1 a.m. - Kreitler, MRP, Gold Sprints After Party at The End Zone

• 18 Hours of Fruita at Highline Lake - starts at midnight at Highline Lake State Park and finishes at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 8
