Plane crashes in Montrose neighborhood

A single-engine airplane crashed Wednesday morning in a north Montrose neighborhood, authorities said.

The plane was on approach to Montrose Regional Airport when it apparently lost power.

The pilot was injured in the 11:30 a.m. crash, and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
