FORT CARSON, Colo. (AP) - Army Secretary John McHugh will attend memorial services at Fort Carson for 15 soldiers killed in Afghanistan last month.

Two services are scheduled Wednesday at the post near Colorado Springs.

One will honor eight soldiers from Fort Carson's 4th Infantry Division who were killed Oct. 3 when insurgents attacked two U.S. outposts in Afghanistan.

The other will honor seven soldiers from the post's 4th Engineer Battalion who were killed in three incidents in Afghanistan.

McHugh was confirmed as Army secretary in September. He was a Republican congressman from upstate New York at the time.
