It's nice to see Mr. Ervin hasn't lost his sense of self-righteous indignation and lack of vision. He seems to think that everyone who is opposed to the actions of the president and Congress MUST be racist. I mean, it can't be politics right?
Just for the record, I wouldn't care if the president were male or female; white, black, brown, green or blue or purple with mauve spots. If I felt that what they were trying to do was in the best interest of the country, I would support them. If they were trying to run roughshod over the country with the appointment of so many “Czars” with checkered pasts and no oversight, and were calling any opposition to their agenda “un-American”; I would be opposed to them, too.
Racism is a easy card to throw, but let's look at the source.
They couldn't yell “Bush is Hitler” loud enough for eight years, yet cry foul when someone compares Obamacare to the nationalized health care of Nazi Germany.
They grasped at every supposed failing of the previous administration (anyone remember the great CBS “Bush National Guard service record” fiasco), but listen to them now when people question Obama's actions such as saying police performing their duty were acting “stupidly.”
They claimed it was their responsibility to oppose any action they didn't agree with by any means available (keep in mind, voter fraud by groups such as ACORN didn't just occur this cycle), yet resort to name-calling when anyone fails to fully support their goal and time table.
For the vast majority of people who disagree with the Obama administration, it is actions, not appearance, they find argument with.
Well, here's a news flash: The fact that we lost an election makes us citizens, not subjects.
