ANDY CROSS I THE DENVER POST
DENVER (AP) - The storm that brought heavy snow and blizzard conditions to Colorado has left the state but strong winds could still cause problems in some areas.

The National Weather Service says a winter weather advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Friday in the northern Front Range foothills, including Estes Park. That's because gusty west winds are expected to kick up the snow that fell over the last two days and reduce visibility.

Also in northern Colorado, northbound Interstate 25 from Wellington to Wyoming remains closed because of bad conditions across the border.

Gusty winds and blowing snow has shut down nearly major interstate and highway in southeast Wyoming.

Highways in eastern Colorado, including Interstates 70 and 76, have re-opened.
