The Business Incubator Center of Grand Junction will receive a $750,000 state grant to help meet continuing demand for small business loans in the area.
The Governor's Financial Review Committee approved the grant last week, the center said in a statement.
The grant money will be directed to the Business Loan Fund of Mesa County, which is operated by the Incubator Center.
The idea behind the loan fund is to help finance small businesses. The fund serves as a potential loan source for start-up businesses or companies that need cash for inventory, equipment, building improvement, working capital or real estate.
The Business Incubator Center can be reached at 243-5242.
