Blues phenomenon and solo performer, John Alex Mason has achieved critical acclaim around the country. He fills the stage with music that sounds like a five piece blues wrecking crew. His music harkens back to such blues giants as Charlie Patton and Robert Johnson, while at the same time adding a distinct modern quality that thrills both blues purists and casual fans alike.
And he's coming to Grande River Vineyards in Palisade Sept. 4.
“We are really pleased to bring a talent of this magnitude to the Grand Valley,” said KAFM Executive Director Ryan Stringfellow. “Grande River Vineyards is the perfect venue for this concert. We think this will be the last great outdoor show of the summer and it's fitting to do a show that people will be talking about for years.”
The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Food will be available for purchase along with Grande River Wines. Make sure to bring your fold-up chairs and blankets. Advance tickets can be purchased at kafmradio.org, at KAFM studios, at Grande River and at Fisher's Liquor Barn. For more information, call 241-8801, ext. 223.
