Virginia Sophia Palmer of Fruita died Monday, Sept. 22, at her home. She was 62.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by son John N. Palmer of Grand Junction; daughter Marilyn A. Smith of Olathe; sisters Nadine Roberts of Broken Arrow, Okla., Carolina Vierling of Colorado Springs and Rosemary Beck of Atlanta; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Blaine Scott officiating. Cremation preceded the service.
