And once again someone is offended by someone praying or using the word "God.” I am offended every single day of my life with what other people do. Whether it's someone cutting me off when I am driving, someone using foul language in my presence, or a bumper sticker defiling the name of Jesus. But I certainly don't run out and try to get a special interest group to protect me from these things. I silently walk away. This is life. The constitution says we are all created equal. Then why would a few that don't want to hear prayer be allowed to be the majority? Is there a reason it bothers them? Can't they tolerate it just like they do everything else?
I think it's time to quit thinking everything that offends us has to be changed to "our way of thinking" and just try and get along, and love each other as brothers and sisters. Prayers before meetings, games, etc. has been going on for so many years, and then over the last few, all of a sudden it's not OK? That should tell someone something. We have become such a society about "it's all about me, me, me" that we have forgotten why we were put on this earth in the first place. Let's all try and tolerate what someone else does, even though you might not believe in it. Try and be mature enough to let it go and go on about your business.
