GRAND JUNCTION Grand Junctions city manager is getting a raise.
Effective July 1, Laurie Kadrich will make $154,950 a year. Her most recent salary was $150,000 a year.
Kadrich was promoted from deputy city manager a year ago, when then-City Manager David Varley resigned. Kadrich came to Grand Junction in January 2007 from Cody, Wyo.
City Council members approved the salary bump at Wednesdays council meeting. Mayor Gregg Palmer said hes had a lot of interaction with Kadrich.
Its by and large been a delight, he said.
Weve seen some good developments with our city and staff this year, said Mayor Pro Tem Teresa Coons.
Other leaders in the community make $223,042 (Mesa State College President Tim Foster), $175,000 (District 51 Superintendent Tim Mills), $112,000 (Grand Junction Police Chief Bill Gardner) and $106,000 (Mesa County Administrator Jon Peacock).
