FMHS grads get ag scholarship

FRUITA — Two Fruita Monument High School seniors will receive one-year, $3,200 Co-op Country Agriculture Future of America scholarships to pursue an agriculture-related college degree.

Recipients from FMHS are Carson Pearson and Robert McGee. Pearson will attend Colorado State University to study veterinary medicine and McGee will attend CSU to study wildlife biology and animal science.

Brittney Lampshire of Nucla High School also received the scholarship. She will attend Fort Lewis College to study business administration.

The Fruita Consumers Co-op announced the scholarship winners this week.
