Irving L. Rodd

Irving L. Rodd died Thursday, May 8. He was 85.

He was born Jan. 17, 1923. Irving was a World War II Marine Corps veteran on the front line in Guam. He was also a Purple Heart recipient. Irving retired after 42 years of employment at The Christian Science Monitor in Boston.

Irving is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jane; son Richard Rodd of Grand Junction; daughters Deborah (Lewis) Patton of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Susan (Jim) Koestler of Plano, Texas; and six grandchildren.

Full honor services will be held at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 11 a.m., May 14. Correspondence may be made through RRODD6862@MSN.com.
