Longtime Montrose resident David P. Glaser died Sunday, May 4, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. He was 56.
David was born the son of Arthur J. and Elizabeth (Muchow) Glaser on March 15, 1952, in Bellevue, Pa. He spent his childhood and attended various schools in Pennsylvania.
At the age of 15, David and his family moved to Cedaredge, where he attended Delta Sunshine School. David resided in Montrose nearly 24 years before moving to Gunnison a few months ago.
David was employed as a general laborer and was a member of Cross Roads Church in Montrose. He enjoyed watching movies and socializing with his large circle of friends.
David is survived by siblings Arthur Glaser of Delta, Glen Glaser of Pittsburgh and Shirley (Bob) Hatfield of Pennsylvania .
David was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Elizabeth Glaser; stepfather Orin Peterson; and sister Joyce Munsch.
Private services were held.
Arrangements are under the direction of Taylor Funeral Service and Crematory.
