Harold Jerry Hutchison Jr., a lifetime resident of Colorado, died at home surrounded by his loving family on May 8. He was 72.

Jerry was born in Telluride on March 14, 1936, to Harold J (Hod) and Hazel Groves-Hutchison. He attended school in Fruita and was an honorably discharged veteran.

Jerry drove a truck for Veco, Bunning, Western Air and Urie. He was married to and divorced Gail Franz; he later married Carol Morgan and they later divorced. On Nov. 24, 1978, Jerry married Minnie Foster; she survives.

Other survivors include Rick (Pilly) Hutchison of Fruita, Vicky (Jerry) Reeves of Rangley, John (Robin) Hutchison of Arizona, Terry and Jacque Foster of Montrose, Andy Foster of Montrose, Robbie and Dawn Foster of Whitewater, Lee and Dee Foster of Texas and 69 grandchildren. He is further survived by brothers James (Billie) Hutchison and Michael Hutchison, both of Grand Junction; and sisters Sandra Hutchison and Cindy Arlon of Grand Junction.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Kathy Melendy.

Jerry will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
