I read the article on the Internet “Mexican consul general visits Grand Junction” at gjfreepress.com.
I find this consul general repugnant. HE SHOULD BE LECTURING HIMSELF AND HIS CORRUPT GOVERNMENT — for THEY are the reason THEIR citizens LEAVE Mexico.
How dare he stand on U.S. soil and make these comments!
The corrupt Mexican government — and this consul — should take ALL of their citizens home and care for ALL of their citizens on Mexican soil. Not speak out against the good people of America — when THEY themselves will not care for the “illiterate peasants” in Mexico!
I support Rep. Bruce’s statement. First of all, AMERICAN CITIZENS are losing their jobs to illegal aliens — construction, factory work, carpentry etc.
There is NO GUARANTEE that if Colorado brings in more unskilled foreign national workers that they will return home. That is why I agree with Rep. Bruce.
Besides, there are thousands of potential employees growers can employ. For example, prisoners, high school dropouts, unemployed Americans, teens, etc. But instead, lawmakers want to bring in MORE unskilled labor.
Our lawmakers should be like Bruce — and growers should hire INSIDE of the U.S. Do they have to pay out more in salary? Do they have to treat the U.S. workers lawfully?
I think the growers want an endless slave-like labor and therefore butter up lawmakers, like Rep. Curry, to do THEIR bidding.
