GRAND JUNCTION — Grand Junction police are investigating the death of an infant child this morning.
According to a GJPD news release, police responded to a report of a suspicious death at 868 Grand Vista Way, at 9:37 a.m. Tuesday.
Officers and Grand Junction Fire personnel confirmed an infant was deceased at the residence.
Grand Junction police, in conjunction with the 21st Judicial District Attorney’s Office and the Mesa County Corners Office, are conducting a joint investigation into the death of the infant.
Police have not released the infant's age or gender.
