In a news report delivered by radio station KTTM (AM 1340) this afternoon,
Central High School head girls basketball coach Matt Lindholm has resigned his
coaching position.

The report of Lindholm’s resignation was confirmed in the radio station’s interview with School District 51 athletic director Steve Phillips.

Paul Cain, the athletic director at Central High School, will step in as girls
head coach for the remainder of the current season.

The Warriors, currently on an 11-game winning streak, lead the Southwestern
League with a 7-0 record (16-3 overall) and have three league games left to play
in the regular season.
