A 21-year-old man walked into the Mesa County Justice Center and, just prior to passing through a security checkpoint manned by sheriffs deputies, placed his pipe which had a residue consistent with burnt marijuana on a table, according to reports. He was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Grand Junction police were called on a report of a man dressed in red lingerie which allegedly exposed his genitals who had walked up to a home in the 1100 block of Colorado Ave., according to reports. When asked by officers if the man had indeed exposed himself, the 37-year-old reportedly explained he was wearing his sex clothes, referring to the lingerie as his Butler.
The man was issued a summons for indecent exposure.
A Fruita woman was alarmed at the sight of a white male, early 50s balding and about 250 pounds, driving in the 1400 block of U.S. Highway 6 & 50 and filming a gas station in the area, according to reports.
The woman reported what she saw in fear that the subject may be a terrorist, reports said.
Officers told her the man may be a freelance news photographer.
